Post by Day 4 a brief description of the resources you selected and the information and type of visual aid presented in the resources. Then explain whether the visual aids were effective or ineffective in communicating the information and why.

In the report “Is Race and Gender a Factor with Recidivism Rates?” will require the resources of Dissertations and Theses, and Trade Journals. Dissertations and Theses are reports in support of a particular topic, which are usually done by master and doctorial students.

A trade journal is periodical containing information about a particular trade like, criminal justice, nursing, and construction, etc.

These resources will provide the researcher with bar graphs and pie graphs. The graphs contain the specific variables related to the quantitative study. The study will consist of information pertaining to race and gender, and do they effect recidivism rates (people returning to jail or prison after release).

The graphs are very effective in communicating the variations of variables in the study. The audience or reader will get a better understanding about race and gender and do they affect the recidivism rates. It will show a comparison of race and gender in different correctional facilities and the effects of the recidivism rates.
