Write at least 1-2 paragraphs in response to the prompt below: Which ONE of the seven criticisms raised against Communism in The Communist Manifesto at the end of the document is the strongest criticism? How does Marx & Engels respond to the criticism? Is their response convincing? Why or why not? ——————————————————————————————————————— On a separate paragraph respond to this classmate discussion board post. Do you agree what do you think about it? One of the strongest criticisms raised against communist is private property. “In this sense, the theory of the Communists maybe summoned up in the single sentence: Abolition of private property.” They kind of describe the difference between private propriety and property on its own. Private property which says it is that it takes away the freedom and independence of anyone and property is the property that is self earned and self acquired. Marx and Engels respond to this by saying that that private property is already done with the majority of the population. It’s like an automatic thing for those who are unaware of this so called private property. “You reproach us, therefore, with intending to do away with a form of property, the necessary condition for whose existence is the non-existence of any property for the immense majority of society.” Their response is convincing because if you think about it, in reality we’re being slaved without even realizing. Working hard to survive here in New York, the most expensive city when’re you just work to pay bills because everything here is expensive.
